Hydrocyclones are used in a huge field of the mineral processing industry. A hydrocyclone is a continuously operating classifying device that utilizes centrifugal force to accelerate the settling rate of particles. Beneath the slurry parameters like solid concentration, solid density, grain size distribution and inlet feed pressure the construction form of a hydrocyclone has a great influence on the efficiency. Two types of hydrocyclones are available:
1. Hydrocyclone Type A
2. Hydrocyclone Type AT
